My pins have been a big hit for people looking for fun and unique gift ideas. And for years, I have seen vending machines that sell unique items like handmade earrings, bandanas, and surprise bags in bars and restaurants around Oregon. That’s why I was so overjoyed to be contacted by Cari Carter, the owner of Magic Box Vending, to carry my glitter buttons! I love anything that subverts the ideals of mass production, so selling my pinback buttons in these vending machines was a no-brainer. I love these updated vending machines for a few reasons:
- Keep people off their phones and engaged
- Support local artists
- Contain unique items you can’t find anywhere else

Button Pins for Backpacks
These button pins are sturdy, cute and are the perfect accessory for your jean jacket, hat, or backpack! Here are some of my best selling pins.
Now back to the awesome machines. These vending machines, which originally sold mass produced items like cigarettes and sodas, instead sell handmade items crafted by local artists. It is such a unique and interesting way to bring a craft market into late nights at the bar. And hey, Portland has A LOT of bars. I am excited to announce that you can now find my glitter buttons at bars in Portland and Astoria and gasp, Las Vegas!
Although you may not find my popular BTS pinback buttons among these vending machine offerings, you can find the following in your local magic box.
